Commissioner of Central Excise in Mangalore is holding a Seminar/ Open House meeting on levy of service tax on the five new services introduced on June 1 namely (i) renting, leasing of immovable property service (ii) Works contract service (iii) Development and supply of content service (iv) Designing service and (v) mining service.

According to a press release, service providers and general public who desire to get information about the new can attend the seminar at 4.30 pm on July 30 at the office of the commissioner of central excise at Trade Centre in Mangalore. For more details contact the office by July 20, the release added.
