The police have arrested a person in connection with the burning of a religious book and material near a place of worship in Mandi Mohalla that sparked communal tension on Sunday, here on Tuesday night.
Kaiser, who used to sleep in the dargah premises, has been arrested. He is said to have admitted that he perpetrated the crime for money. He was produced before a court on Tuesday, which remanded him to judicial custody till June 23. 
The police have also interrogated four other persons based on the information given by Kaiser.
