Software Services Company, Tata Consultancy Services is the top IT-ITES employer in India, followed by Infosys Technologies and Wipro Technologies.

The National Association of Software & Services Companies (Nasscom) released the rankings of the top 20 IT-ITES employers in India for financial year  2006-2007 on Thursday.

These 20 companies collectively employ over 500,000 people out of the 1.6 million are employed directly in the industry.

The rankings are based on the India-based headcount of firms with IT-ITES operations in India, as reported to Nasscom in its annual survey.
