Rock for a cause
Unwind, Bangalore and Spykar Jeans JRO presents a series of three rock concerts to facilitate ‘Educate to Empower’ (E2E), a social project for Acts of Mercy, an NGO, aimed at raising funds to help underprivileged students in the City and surrounding areas take up college and vocational courses after their high school education. While Old Jungle Saying will be performing on June 10, Phenom will perform on June 17 and Parousia on June 24 in Bangalore.

Coffee award
M/s. Coffeelab Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, was awarded a prestigious award for Coffee Excellence by the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) on May 20 during the World of Coffee 2006 Conference and Exhibition at Berne, Switzerland.
During this year’s Coffee Conference and Exhibition, the World Coffee Barista Championship was also held. Baristi from 48 countries participated in the competition. More than 80 international exhibitors displayed their latest products and services. The award ceremony and gala dinner had more than 600 attendees.
