Untimely death of little children due to negligence of elders is a shame on the society. Now the authorities are busy fixing responsibility for the tragic death of Sonia Singh. After the lapse of a few months, the entire incident will go out of memory of the people. But the silent sufferers are the parents of the child; no one can make good the loss. I have the following suggestions to prevent such tragedies in future.
1.     The prayer for the nursery classes should be in their class rooms only.
2.     Nursery classes should function only in ground floor.
3.     The school authorities should ensure the safety of the nursery school children from the time they enter the school till the parents/guardians come and take them home.
4.     For other students, the respective class teachers / PT masters should monitor the discipline when the students go back to classes after the prayers.
The above procedure may be made mandatory for all schools.
