Monsoon was weak over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.
Forecast: Valid until the morning of Saturday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Chikmagalur, Hassan, Kodagu, Shimoga districts and at isolated places over remaining districts of the State.
