There is a goddess in every woman, exclaimed Thorsten Allenstein, country and general manager, Triumph International India, during the display of the Spring-Summer and Autumn-Winter collections of intimate wear for 2007 and 2008 in the City last week.
Triumph International, headquartered in Switzerland, has its presence in 184 countries. Triumph has been in the lingerie market since 1886 and entered India in March 2002. About 72 new styles will be unveiled in the coming months, Allenstein said.
The fashion show kicked off with Indian and international models walking the runway flaunting Triumph’s new collections, which included t-shirt bras, sports bras, non-wired bras, hipsters and g-strings. The primary fabrics and materials for the lingerie included satin, lace and microfibre. The colour story seemed to explore all the vibrant shades of a woman with chocolate browns, pinks, burgundy, shades of blue, green and purples.
The 2007 collection included Miss Navy in shades of dark blue and white. Other collections included Miss Disco Queen (with a hint of shimmer), Miss Cool Pants, Miss Flirt, Miss Rosie and Miss Fun, while the seduction collection included Daring Temptation, Intense Passion, Claudette Sensual Emotion made of elastic satin with a stripe effect and Super Soft Romance, made from microfibre material.
Then there was Miss Candy to bring out the romantic side, Miss Energy, Miss Salsa, Miss Lace String and Miss Body Talk were a few of the Sloggi Collection displayed.
The fashion show had performers from Excellency Dance Company who presented three dances to entertain the audience. A laser show was also organised during the course of the fashion show.
The show concluded with a preview of the 2008 collection. Miss Day Dream, Miss Sexy Crazy, Miss Holiday, Miss Teasing Temptation and Miss Delicate are few of the styles that one can look forward to next. Triumph’s products are available at all leading retailers.
