Mixology has become a buzzword in Bangalore’s premium bars, spa lounges and restaurants. Recently Crossover Sports launched the first ever Bangalore Cocktail festival at Grand Ashok last Sunday (July15). It was the grand finale of the Crossover cocktail festival. People enjoyed the art of mixology for about three hours before they hit the floor. The party was the cocktail night of Bangalore with flamboyant bar tenders, ideologists and some cool new cocktails.
The festival covered over twenty top locations and featured some exotic cocktails, flair bartender and also a mixing championship. After days of mixing and partying the Bangalore's Cocktail King was crowned at the grand finale of the cocktail festival. The winners of the professional category were chosen from over 20 of the very best bartenders of the city. Dinesh of i-bar of the Park hotel mixed his way for the first place, Ravi of Ice bar of Taj Residency clinched the second place while Ashok, also of i-bar was adjudged third. They created a variety of cocktails demonstrating their mixing skills winting the alloted time.
Avinash K J who works as a flare trainer, performed the breathtaking fire flaring show on this occasion. The event was sponsored by Antiquity blue and supported by Grand Ashok. Darshan M and Neeraj Verma.
