He would fly to Australia on Saturday and would reach there on Sunday. Imran would meet Haneef as well as his lawyer in Australia, Peter Russo, to discuss the case. Imran would also take with him, the pictures of Firdaus and her new-born baby.
Talking to reporters at her parental house on Friday, Firdaus said she is confident that the trial would be fair and her husband would come out clean.
Regarding the recovery of the SIM card from Kafeel Ahmed’s house, she said the truth has started coming out that the SIM card was not used to execute the terror strike.
Reacting to the cancellation of her visa she said she is not dejected and was expecting such a move from the Australian government.
Firdaus also expressed happiness over the Central government stand on the case. She said, the discussion her family had with the Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahmed filled them with confidence.

“We all are happy that the Government of India is taking the matter seriously and is doing all that is possible to help us at this crucial time,” said Firdaus.
She added that the government has told the family that they were in touch with their Australian counterparts to give proper treatment to Haneef.
About confining Haneef in a solitary cell, Firdaus said though she was depressed by the news, such an action is expected from a foreign government.
