Kismat Konnection is all set to change hero Shahid Kapoor's kismat.  After delivering two back-to-back hits like Vivaah and Jab We Met, Shahid is all set to rock the box office with his next release Kismat Konnection.
The trade has been agog about the whopping price the film has been sold for and trade watchers are predicting superstardom for Shahid. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh says, "Kismat Konnection is definitely an eagerly awaited film and Shahid is the next big star to watch out for."

Obviously all this praise is well deserved as Shahid's proved both his box office clout and his acting prowess with the two consecutive hits. And now with Kismat he is all set to woo the NRI market that was solely the territory of the three Khans.

The young sensation is doing his first NRI romance with Aziz Mirza's Kismat Konnection. Aziz Mirza says that the role would have been perfect for Shahrukh Khan ten years back and now only Shahid suits the role.
All of Shahid’s hit films like Ishq Vishq, Vivaah and Jab We Met have been romantic films shot in India. Be it Mumbai in Ishq Vishq, a small town in Vivaah or Punjab in Jab We Met, Shahid has always been an Indian romancing his girl back home. And now with Kismat for the first time he is doing an out-and-out NRI romance where he is playing a boy living in Toronto.

 Says Shahid, "Yes this is the first time  I am doing full-fledged NRI romance. I'm not playing a rich kid living abroad like it's usually depicted in other films. I'm playing a guy who is not so well off, trying to make a living in a foreign country.
