On the directions of the Election Commission of India revision of voters’ list of the Gulbarga assembly constituency is being taken up from June 28 to July 18, according to the City Municipal Corporation Commissioner S P Mudhol, who is also the elector registration officer.

People coming under the Gulbarga assembly constituency have been asked to make use of the revision of voters’ list.

 Those who do not have their names in the voters list have been asked to register their names either at the City Municipal Corporation office or at the designated places by filling the forms 6, 7, 8 or 8 A as the case may be.

The forms should be furnished by the individual concerned who seeks registration of name in the voters’ list.
An official release has stated that for the enrollment of name in the voters’ list Form-6 should be submitted.
However, for filing objection to inclusion or deletion of names Form-7 and for corrections in the voters’ list Form-8 should be used. And for transfer of names Form-8 A should be used.
