President A P J Abdul Kalam on Sunday hosted a farewell tea party for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, his Cabinet colleagues and Parliamentarians.

The farewell party was attended among others by UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and the Council of Ministers.
The members of Parliament and Union ministers were seen shaking hands with the President.

The President, Mr Kalam, demits office on July 25 after an eventful five-year tenure.
Senior CPM leader Sitaram Yechury was also present.

The three chiefs of Services and senior bureaucrats also attended the function.
