The Potter plot keeps thickening...
The saga promises to live on in kids minds
DH News Service, Bangalore:

The City hasn’t yet come out of celebration mode what with Harry Potter surviving the last installment of the series, leaving some possibilities for the story to be continued. Some brilliant ideas are being explored for the story, not by J K Rowling, but by Bangalore kids, who somehow want the Potter saga to go on and on...
Since Potter is married and has three kids now, it’s thought difficult for him to carry on with his adventures but then he can send his kids to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and readers can enjoy his kids’ adventures. This is one of the basic idea for the new ‘plots’.

However, Aakash, a Class X student of Sri Aurobindo Memorial School, has a unique idea: Half of Voldemort was in Potter’s blood and Harry transfers those genes to his children, who become the new Voldemort. The new heroes will be Ron and Hermione’s children, fighting Harry’s children. ‘Harry, Ron and Hermione were best of friends but how they look at their kids fighting each-other’ could be be the new theme, he says. But Niharika Ramesh of the same school wants Voldemort Junior to come as the new ‘Dark Lord’ and Harry Potter Jr to fight him.

Ashwin Sridhar (Class XI, National Hillview Public School) doesn’t like the idea of naming his protagonist Harry Potter Jr. His idea? Voldemort is back and Harry’s and Ron’s kids join hands to fight him. Aditya, his classmate, wants to focus on the next 20 years of Harry’s life and wants a new ‘Dark Lord’ with some extra horrifying features.

Ashika (Ist PU, Bhagvan Mahavir Jain) wants the story to continue but is not sure how. While Aakash says the new story must have a ‘secret’ as the seventh book had about Harry’s life, Ashwin wants a tragic end, maybe killing the hero. The Harry Potter series may have ended, but it sure will continue to send sparks of imagination flying for quite some time to come.
