Power interruptions
There will be unscheduled power interruption from July 24 to August 1 during the peak hours of morning and evening after 9. 30 am.  The areas which will be affected include Yelahanka New Town, Yelahanka Old Town, Attur, Vidyaranyapura, Chikkabuttahalli, Veerupakshapura, Yelahanka Industrial Town, Venkata Limits, IAF, Judicial Layout, Sahakaranagar, Jakkur, Byatraayanapura, Puttenahalli, Ananthapura, Rajanakunte, KHB apartments and surrounding areas.There will be no power supply on Tuesday from 11 am to 4 pm at Nagawara, Byrankunte, HBR 5th Cross, Puttaswamy Layout, HKBK College, NJK Enterprises and surrounding areas.
 Power supply will also be interrupted on Wednesday between 10 am and 4 pm at Anekal Town, Kapoor Panchayath, Samandur and surrounding villages.

Global conference
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is organising the Second International Conference on Management of Globally Distributed Work (GDW)  from July 25 to 27. Eminent personalities from global universities will attend the conference. The Inauguration will be held on July 25 at 9 am, followed by keynote address by Co-Chairman, Infosys Technologies Ltd, Mr Nandan M Nilekani.

Water adalat
BWSSB will hold a water adalat on Tuesday from 9.30 am to 11 am in the office of the Assistant Executive Engineer of West 4 sub division at West of Chord Road. The Executive Engineer of West Division will conduct this adalat. Disputes that fall under the jurisdiction of West of Chord Road 1 and 2, Basaveshwaranagar 1st to 4th block, Industrial town, Dasarahalli, Kamakshipalaya, Kamalanagara, Manjunath Nagar, Shivanagar, BEML nagar service station limits will be heard and settled in this adalat.
