This has reference to your editorial, "First Woman Prez", DH. 23.07.07. Praibha Patil, represents the rustic, hardworking, loving and caring woman folk of rural India, full of common sense with unconventional but highly effective managerial skills.
She will prove her detractors wrong, by, not only following her illustrious predecessor's footsteps but also by springing some of her own pleasant surprises, to win the admiration and hearts of Indians. All the Best Madam, Prez elect. India is with you!
May I add that it is totally unfair to presume that Sonia Gandhi and UPA expect her to be a "Rubber Stamp" president.
