Trees as canvases
Mysore: In Bangalore, during Chitrasante, art works may be found alongside the Kumarakrupa Road. But, ever heard about art on trees? If you want to see, come to Mysore, the cultural capital of our State. While walking along the Woodlands theatre junction near the palace can one find art works on trees!

No, this is not the result of people’s tendency to create records or a propaganda to promote art in the city. Actually, it is the work of a nearby bar and restaurant which has got the art works done on nearby trees just to draw the attention of public.

Yet, this is service to the field of art with a difference!

A clock with no motion
Bellary: The historical Clock Tower in Bellary, one of the famous landmarks of the place, is in a bad shape. All the four clocks of the tower, which was declared as a heritage structure in Bellary, are not functioning for almost a decade now. The Bellary City Corporation (BCC) has failed to repair this historical clock.

Though the BCC office is situated right next to this clock, no officer or BCC members have taken any initiative to get the clock repaired. Net result: All the four clocks are motionless.
