Biking club

GCC Biking Club, a unique initiative to cultivate proper riding ethics among the students, has been initiated by Joseph V G, chairman, Garden City Group Institution. There has been an increase in the number of road accidents and most of these involve the youth.  Many of them ride or drive to their educational institutions. Fatal accidents can be avoided if proper riding gear and  right attitude is imbibed.  Besides, young lives are lost because of overspeeding or rash riding giving motorcycling a bad name. Some of these accidents can be avoided by using helmets. As a part of outbound programmes, the biking club of the college is embarking on an elaborate venture. To create awareness and inculcate a culture of safe riding among riders, Rahul Devnath and Rahul Kumar have set out on their debut expedition through South India.
