Population explosion is more deadly than aids, said Rotary president M S Viswanath, here on Tuesday.
He was speaking at a function organised by the NSS, Rotary Club and Inner Wheel Club as part of the World Population day at the Y E Rangaiashetty Government First Grade College and said the rise in population would lead to lot of problems and added that that was one of the main reasons for environment being destroyed.
In-charge principal Y S Hanumantharaya who presided said, the population increase would hinder progress and the youth must be very aware of this.
He said that this problem will come into focus especially when the youth go in search of jobs and added that at least now the people should become aware about bringing the population under control.
