Senior Post Graduate Students’ Forum of the Tumkur University has demanded that degree marks should not be considered for admission to B Ed courses against the background of conducting CET for the same.
A degree is considered sufficient for writing IAS, KAS and other such competitive exams.
Also, those who have secured low marks are allowed to appear for written entrance examinations to LLB, he said.
Owing to several reasons the students might have scored low marks in their degree exams. Thus, it should not be a criteria for selection to B Ed course, urged Forum President G Hanumanthaiah.
Thus, inorder to discuss about this issue a meet will be held on July 28 at 12:30 pm, he informed.
