Karnataka Rajya Vijnana Parishat in association with the Department of Public Instruction is organising a workshop for science teachers of the district on Thursday at Sri Padmavati PU College, Gulbarga, at 10 am.
The workshop is organised to sensitise and train science teachers of the district in view of the holding of 15th National Children’s Science Conference by the National Council for Science and Technology on bio-diversity conservation for our future. District co-ordinator of the Conference Girish Kadlewad has asked science teachers of higher primary and secondary schools to participate in the workshop.
Y N Seetharam of Gulbarga University Botany Department will speak on `bio-diversity in plants’, Dr Sanjeev Reddy of Zoology Department of Karnataka College, Bidar, will speak on bio-diversity in animals’.
