BJP to attend
New Delhi, DHNS:

The BJP on Tuesday said it considered the sanctity of the country’s highest constitutional office to be more important than the person elected to the post and therefore would attend the presidential oath taking ceremony on Wednesday.

The former deputy prime minister and senior BJP leader L K Advani, who had earlier appealed to the United Progressive Alliance to replace Pratibha Patil as its presidential candidate in the wake of a spate of allegations, told a BJP meeting here that his party was a firm believer in constitutional order.
