Launching into another tirade against the land acquisition policies of the JD(S)-BJP coalition government, the Hoskote Block Congress party on Tuesday organised a public meeting at Nandagudi, the land identified for creating a 12,000-acre multi-product Special Economic Zone.
KPCC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, speaking at the meet, cautioned farmers against selling their land and depriving their children of their rightful property. He said that JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda was party to the “forceful acquisition”.
