The City will host hundreds of techies, entrepreneurs, artists, film makers and others in the fourth edition of BarCamp Bangalore on July 28 and 29 at the IIM-B campus. BarCamp Bangalore is an informal forum for delegates to showcase ideas and products and has attracted more than 700 registrations, according to the organisers.
The latest edition also holds the distinction of being a “Collectives” BarCamp. A Collective is a thread at the BarCamp that involves a group of individuals interested in a certain topic, technology or concept.The BarCamp is aimed at bringing together enthusiasts, thinkers, designers and visionaries to innovate and follow up on innovations with no distinction between speakers and delegates. Any participant can propose a discussion or speak up on familiar topics. Collectives Barcamp is supported by Directi, a group of business units that develops web products. Registration is free.
