Victims kin stage dharna

 Relatives of a Shivaraj (24) who succumbed to injuries, that he suffered in an accident on Tuesday night, staged a dharna in front of Bowring Hospital on Wednesday alleging that negligence of doctors was cause of the death.
According to police Shivaraj suffered injuries when the two-wheeler, he was riding, hit a road divider on Banasavadi ring road. He was taken to NIMHANS. Doctors at NIMHANS recommended that he should be taken to Bowring Hospital for treatment.

Negligent
Protesters alleged that the doctors at Bowring Hospital were negligent and asked them take Shivaraj to home as he was not suffering from any major injury.

However he succumbed to injuries on Wednesday morning. They said that had the doctors of Bowring hospital treated him with care he would have survived.

Relatives withdrew the protest after hospital superintendent assured them that he would hold inquiry into the whole incident.
