QUESTION: Is it true that children having ADHD (Attention Deficit Attention Disorder) problems have problems in sleeping as well? Is it an added problem to their already disturbed mind?
ANWER: Tamara McLean reports in the Daily Telegraph that a survey has been presented to a National Medical Conference recently (May 09, 2007), that 74% of children with ADHD have sleeping problems. The survey has brought out starling results that poor sleep is an added problem to children with ADHD. Parents have to observe their children's sleep habits if they have been diagnosed as having ADHD. Consulting a psychiatrist is a must if they find them turning and tossing in the bed.
