Taluk revenue officials staged a dharna in front of the taluk office urging to arrest the culprits who allegedly went to avani revenue inspector office, abused and attacked him causing severe injury on his eye.
They demanded immediate justice. The employees held a meeting at taluk office and requested tahsildar C Manjunath to provide them security with regard to the recent assault of the Revenue inspector in his office from an enraged group.
Circle inspector of police Srinivasamurthy who came to the meeting assured  the protesters to arrest the culprits within two days.
Taluk state government employees association president K V Subramanyam demanded arrest of culprits with in two days and if not, will continue strike after two days by closing all the government offices in the taluk, he warned.
At the later stage he also warned to close all the kolar district government  offices.
Taluk state government employees association Vice president C Krishnappa, taluk revenue employees’ association president Dasappa, village accountant association president munivenkatappa and others were present.
