“A heroine’s role in the commercial films of today is slightly limited. She has not much to do other than singing and dancing. But for a budding actor, initial recognition and success comes through such films than art films,” said Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif. Speaking to media persons here on Monday, she said that she is interested in roles of substance, but is currently involved consciously in establishing herself as a commercial actress.
Katrina who came to the City for the launch of a branch of Khazana Jewellery in Mangalore, was at her usual best, sporting a red chiffon sari with zari work and a fairly good collection of gold ornaments.
