Prashanth Baliga of Mangalore secured All India level 18th rank in the CA final examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in May 2007.  Prashanth is the son of Chartered Accountant B Raghurama Baliga and Shobha R Baliga. He is currently undergoing CA Articleship training under his father. Earlier, Prashanth has secured 8th rank in the CA (PE 2) exams and 4th rank in BCom degree exams of Mangalore University in 2003.
