The emphasis of each workshop is to explain the benefits that accrue to participants from the study of scriptures and to provide an opportunity for youth to interact with seers and scholars. Each discourse is recorded and transcribed and can be downloaded from the website www.vyasamadhwa.org. Participants also get access to a vast set of books and CDs, according to a release.
Fifteen workshops have been conducted so far covering a number of topics from the Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Ramayana, lives and works of eminent scholars and philosophers. The workshops are conducted once a month on a Sunday afternoon for three hours at the Vijayabharati High School, Girinagar. The next workshop will be conducted on July 29, at 2.45 pm at the same venue, the release adds.
Eminent seers including Visvesha Teertha Swami of Udupi Pejawar Mutt, Vidyesha Teertha Swami of Bhandirikeri Mutt, Satyatma Teertha Swami of Uttardi Mutt and Vignananidhi Teertha Swami of Sripadaraja Mutt, besides scholars such as Prof K T Pandurangi of Dvaitha Vedantha Foundation and Poornapragna Vidyapeetha have contributed to the design and execution of the workshop, the release adds.
