Indiagames, the Indian franchise owner of the global World Cyber Games (“WCG”) competition will conduct the India national qualifiers for the WCG 2007 in 7 cities starting August 11. The Indian qualifiers will be held in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Delhi and Pune and the global finals at Seattle, Washington, USA.

The total prize money to be won at WCG India will be Rs15 Lahks and the 10 finalists from the India qualifiers will be flown on an all expense paid trip to Seattle to represent the country in the global finals where they will compete for the US $ 300, 000  prize money, according to a release.

The WCG 2007 qualifiers are scheduled as – New Delhi (Aug 11 and 12 ), Chennai (Aug 18 and 19), Kolkatta (Aug 18 and 19), Hyderabad (August 23 and 24 ), Bangalore (Augusr 28 and 29 August), Pune (September 2 and 3), Mumbai (Sept 7 and 8) with the India Finals on the September 9 in Mumbai.
