St Joseph’s lads crush JSS
Arjun scored an unbeaten 41 to steer St Joseph’s Indian Middle School to a 10-wicket win over JSS Public School in the Centenary Cup inter-school (U-13) cricket tournament on Wednesday.

Centenary Cup (U-13): JSS Public School: 92/6 in 25 overs lt to St Joseph’s Indian Middle School: 97/0 in 13.2 overs (Arjun 41 n.o, Aditya 34 n.o)
SJIMSC: 89/8 in 25 overs lt to JIRS: 91/8 in 25 overs.
Arokiaswamy Memorial (U-14): Florence Public School: 65 all out in 20 overs (Uttam Chand 27; Darshan 2-9) lt to St Joseph’s Indian Middle School: 66/3 in 10.3 overs (Uttam Chand 2-35).

Allen ’tricks in
St John’s win
Allen scored four goals including a hat-trick to help St John’s High School beat St Joseph’s Boys High School 4-2 in the Allan MacBride memorial (u-12) inter-school hockey tournament for boys in Bangalore on Wednesday.
Allen struck home in the 10th, 13th, 15th and 17th minutes for St John’s while MK Muthappa (19th minute) and CN Shashank (34th minute) reduced the margin for the losers.
St Joseph’s, however, had something cheer about as they routed Cathedral High School 7-0. Rajth L (6th, 16th), PN Machaiah (17th, 19th), MM Kariappa (3rd), TD Abhishek (12th) and PN Nachaiah (25th) found the target.
In another match Tipu slammed one in the 26th minute as Vidya Shilp Academy edged Frank Anthony Public School 1-0.
