Alvas Nudi Siri from November 30

Alva’s Nudi Siri 2007, annual national literary meet organised by Alva’s Education Trust will be held from November 30 to December 2 at Vidyagiri Sundari Anand Alva College premises.
A press release  informed that a preparatory meeting was held in the college premises recently to discuss the plan for the programme and decide on the main topics of discussion to be held during the programme. Literateurs like Prof M Ramachandra, Chinappa Gowda, Dr Jayaprakash Mavinakuli and others participated in the meeting and opined that apart from the literary topics, the discussion must focus on the contemporary issues, a literateur and his social responsibilities and the challenges faced by Kannada literature.
They also said that the meet must be held in a pattern that more and youth participated in the discussions.
