Members of Wildlife Conservation Society - India Program, Bangalore bagged the first and second prizes in the student talk section at the 21st Annual Meeting of the Society for Conservation Biology at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Port Elizabeth, South Africa on July 3.
Sanjay Gubbi, an employee of WCS, Bangalore got the first prize for his research on the impacts of World Bank investments for Periyar Tiger Reserve. Jignasu Dolia and Archana Bali, Graduates of WCS run M Sc program at Bangalore, won the second prize.
