Committee Formed To Conduct Strike
New Delhi, July 27.

A Central joint co-ordinating committee to conduct the strike of half-a-million Central government employees from the midnight of August 8/9 was constituted here today. It was set up by the National Executive of the Confederation of Central Government Employees Unions which met here. Mr S Madhusuda will be the convener of the committee.

World Opinion Must Compel Pak
Srinagar, July 27.

Sadar-i-Riyasat Yuvraj Karan Singh said here that in the interest of maintaining peace it was imperative that acts of aggression, should be promptly investigated. “I sincerely hope that enlightened public opinion in the world will compel the aggressor to admit its war guilt in Kashmir.

‘Most Sitting MLAs Will Get Tickets’

New Delhi, July 26.
Chief Minister Gundu Rao said here today that the State would go to polls in February and that most of the sitting Congress(I) MLAs would be given party tickets. Talking to newsmen here, Mr Rao appeared to be dismissing the Opposition in the State as inconsequential. Even Mr S Bangarappa’s departure would not help it .
