Retelling Norse tales

Hindustani recital
On the occasion of the ‘punyatithi’ remembrance of late Pandit Fakkiresh Aggadi Hitesh Mehta and Sudha Parekh, both students of Pandit Shripaad Gaddi (the disciple of Pandit Fakkiresh), will give a Hindustani classical and light music recital, on Saturday, July 28, 4 pm onwards. The concert will be held at Purandara Bhavan, behind Indiranagar Club, Indiranagar. Entry is open to all.
Devotional programmes
The Mata Amritanandamayi Math is celebrating Gurupoornima. On this day, disciples and devotees offer special prayers to their respective gurus and seek blessings. People are invited to participate and recieve blessings from Guru Sri Mata Amritanandamayi. The programme is on Sunday, July 29 and includes the Guru Homa, Satsang by Swami Amrithanandapuri, ‘Mathruvandanam’ - a Padapooja by Amrita Vidyalayam children to their parents.
The Ashram is also organising a Shani Sthana Pallata Homa on August 5. The programme will include a devotional music concert, the Shani Sthana Pallata Homa and much more. Even those who cannot participate in the homa can register their names and names of their birth stars at the Math office.
