It is reported that the city corporation constructed 1512 flats during 1987-92 for EWS people at Ejipura. The cost of construction would definitely have  been a few hundred crores. Again it prepared a new plan to reconstruct 1640 flats after demolishing the same as they developed cracks. But one of the buildings has now collapsed killing two persons. Who is responsible for this tragedy? Is it the govt, PWD,or the Corporation?.

This is a clear example of corruption/swindling of public money by a gang of corporation officials, contractors & the politicians. It is not even 20 years & all the flats are declared dangerous to live and the corporation is planning to spend another few hundred crores in building new flats!

The govt/PWD/corporation owes an explanation to the public what action was taken on the persons involved for such a poor quality of construction? Would the concerned PWD minister have kept quiet if his own house collapses within 20 years of construction?

It is a pity that nobody in the govt seems to be serious about taxpayers money.

God save our country from these corrupt politicians.
