Presidents XI score
DH News Service,Bangalore:

Pacer A Mithun returned a rich haul of six for 22 as President’s XI inflicted a crushing innings and 90-run defeat on Mysore Zone on the final day of the two-day match in the SA Srinivasan Memorial under-22 inter-zonal tournament here on Friday.
Resuming at their overnight score of 144/2, President’s XI went on to add 163 runs more before declaring their innings at 307 for four from 82 overs. R Jonathan fell at his overnight score of 63, while Ganesh Satish, who scored a big century in the previous match, was out after a well-made 95.
Dhananjay Murari (72 n.o.) and Harsha Tiptur (51 n.o.) too got amongst the runs.
Mysore, who were shot out for 136 in their first essay, had to score 172 to make President’s bat again. But the visitors came nowhere close to the target falling for a sorry 81 in 25.5 overs.
Right-arm bowler A Mithun did the bulk of the damage removing six of Mysore batsmen while Arjun Shetty, who had claimed six wickets in Mysore’s first innings, added three more wickets to his tally.
