P Puneeth posted a straight-games win over V P Charan to claim the junior boys title in the K S Bimbesh memorial state-ranking table tennis tournament here on Friday.
Puneeth posted a 11-5, 11-4, 11-8 win in the final.
Both Puneeth and Charan had moved into the final with easy victories in the semifinal. Puneeth defeated R Harshith 11-2, 11-5, 11-7 while Charan got past Premchander 11-7, 11-8, 11-6.
In the junior girls final, Bhavana V Murthy defeated Anjali D 11-8, 11-5, 11-8 to claim the title.
Yeshwanth won the non-medallist singles title, posting a 11-5, 11-1, 5-11, 11-8 verdict over Satish Kumar.
