The manner in which the Pakistan Cricket Board is spending funds to prepare the team for the Twenty20 World Cup has drawn criticism from some former players as well as some board officials.
The Board has been organising a conditioning camp and practice matches for some players in the run-up to the Twenty20 World Cup to be held in South Africa in September.
“The tournament is still nearly two months away. So I don’t understand the purpose of spending so much money on these camps and matches,” former captain Javed Miandad said.
