Sripad picked four wickets for 13 runs as SSM School scored an emphatic 113-run victory over BNM School in the BT Ramaiah Shield inter-school first phase match in Bangalore.
Chasing a target of 206, BNM were bundled out for a paltry 92 in 19.2 overs as Sripad came up with vital breakthroughs. His effort was complemented by Niraj and Charan who took two wickets apiece. Sathish (41) provided the lone resistance for the losers.
Earlier, SSM rode on the half centuries from Dilip (82) and Shripad (51) to post a challenging total in the stipulated 26 overs.
In another match New Cambridge School defeated Holy Child School by eight wickets. New Cambridge had encountered little problems in chasing Holy Child’s 128.
