A Chescom mechanic was killed when he fell down from an electric pole as he suffered electric shock while repairing the wire at Vijayanagara extension here on Sunday.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Siddaramegowda (52). The electric pole which he was repairing had two power transmitters. He tried to repair without shutting down 11 KV power transmitter. He was the resident of Nagamangala.
