CPM activists staged a protest and burnt the effigy of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, in protest against the police firing during a protest called by the Left parties demanding land for poor at Mudigonda village near Khammam own.

The members took out a protest march in the town. CPM leader urged the government to conduct a probe into the police firing and provide suitable compensation to the family members of the killed. The citizens of the country should condemn the killing of the innocent protesters.
