A man, who allegedly made indecent phone calls to many Bollywood actresses like Kangana Ranaut, Isha Koppikar and Kareena Kapoor was arrested and brought to the city on Sunday, a senior police official said.
Mehraj Rehman was arrested in Hyderabad on Friday and brought to the city, Deputy Commissioner of Police V Chaubey said. Rehman, hailing from Hyderabad, used to make calls to many Bollywood actresses and was nabbed by a team of the city police who were tracking him down there, for the past few days, he said.
“The cranky caller was produced before a  court in Bandra on Sunday where he has been remanded to police custody till August 1,” he added. The police is also said to have seized multiple SIM cards from Rehman.
