PIL ADMITTED
Chennigappa lands in legal dispute  
The High Court on Monday admitted a PIL against Forest and Environment Minister C Chennigappa for purchasing some lands, in Nelamangala taluk, that were earlier relinquished by him in favour of the State Government as donation.
HC stays action against 4 revenue officials  
A High Court Division Bench on Monday stayed a single judge order directing action against four officials of the Revenue Department, who had allegedly misled the Special Deputy Commissioner (Spl.DC), Bangalore District in permitting conversion of a land already acquired by the Government.
Failure to submit affidavit irks HC  
The Karnataka High Court took a serious exception to Chief Secretary P B Mahishis failure to file a proper explanation before the Court for non-compliance of its earlier order, despite several opportunities.
