Gendegadde Harijan colony, a tiny hamlet in Ujjani village of Bidare Gram Panchayat limits is in darkness and is devoid of all basic facilities. The colony has nearly 25 houses without any basic facilities. Earlier, water was supplied to the hamlet through gravitation force. But now the rich landlords have snatched away the water supply system to their estates. The road to colony is in highly deplorable condition with big potholes in it. The colony has electric poles, without streetlights. The colony has been neglected by the gram panchayat.
The villagers have sought basic facilities with the Gram Panchayat, Zilla Panchayat MLAs by submitting memorandum. However, nothing has been materialised so far.  The villagers have urged the authorities to provide basic facilities.
