Jewellry stolen from temple
DH News Service, Narasimharajapur:

Silver jewellry and articles worth Rs 12,000 have been stolen from Sri Veeranjaneya Temple near the bus stand here on Sunday night.

The unidentified miscreants broke the grills of the window and committed the theft.

The incident came to light only when the temple priest opened the temple’s door on Monday morning.
In another similar incident that took place on Sunday night, over Rs 1 lakh cash, gold and silver have been stolen from a house belonging to one Nagaratnamma on Medarabeedhi.

Police have registered a case. However, two similar incidents on a single night have caused apprehension among the local residents.
