Rainfall occurred at many places over coastal and at isolated places over interior. Raichur recorded heavy rainfall of 7 cms. Other chief rainfall amounts (cm): Karwar 5, Chittapur 2, Mulki, Ankola, Mangalore AP, Honavar, Pavagada 1 each. Maximum temperatures changed little over interior. They were appreciably above normal at most places over south interior and above normal at a few places over north interior Karnataka. Gulbarga recorded highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree Celsius over the State.
