Arrack worth lakhs seized Arrack stored in one of the lorries parked near Harihara by-pass started leaking. The smell attracted the attention of excise vigilance team. As many as 1.65 lakh sachets of arrack worth Rs 30 lakh were found in these lorries.
The State government has been recovering hundreds of acres of encroached lands, especially in and around Bangalore, and disposing them off through auctions, inspite of not getting a good price. Is it the right move or are there better options?
