Launched in the UK last year, Intute (http://www.intute.ac.UP) is the new face of the Resource Discovery Network (RDN). It is a free online service which provides access to the very best Web resources in the field of education and research. The Intute database makes it possible to discover the best and most relevant resources. The database allows access to both subject-specific and cross-subject resources, under these four subject groups. They are: Science and Technology,Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Health and Life Sciences.
Science & Technology
The Science and Technology subject group includes resources related to the study of physical sciences, engineering, computing, geography, mathematics and environmental sciences. These resources have been categories under Astronomy, Chemistry, Computing, Earth Sciences, Engineering Environment, General Sciences, Geography, Mathematics and Physics.
