CET: Seat selection to be put off?
Bangalore, DHNS:

The State government is contemplating postponing medical and dental casual vacancy round of seat selection process scheduled to start at the CET cell by a few days.

The move comes in the wake of non-clearance of seats in 11 medical colleges, including three government medical colleges set up last year by Medical Council of India (MCI).

A final decision will be taken at a meeting of Medical Education Department officials on Thursday. The casual vacancy round was scheduled to begin on July 9. “We are awaiting clearance of these seats from MCI soon,”
Medical Education Minister V S Acharya told Deccan Herald.
